It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association conference 2012, to be held at Vellore. As is the tradition, it will be during the second week end of February and the dates are the 9th, 10th and 11th of February 2012.

The Christian Medical College, Vellore is famous for its long - standing academic excellence and for its compassionate care combined with clinical expertise, cutting edge research and ethical practice. We welcome you to experience this first hand, and to share your expertise with our Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic fraternity.

The theme for this conference is “ Recent advances in Orthopaedics” and we have invited many leading scientists and surgeons, who are doing excellent work in their fields, from India and abroad. The days are packed with academic programmes which will be conducted in three Halls within the CMC campus.
Vellore also has many other places of interest, including the historical Fort where the first Sepoy Mutiny started, the Golden Temple and the Vellore Institute of Technology. The famous Tirupathi Temple and Kancheeepuram also within driving distance.

The climate will be pleasantly warm during this time of the year and we recommend light cotton attire.
